White Eagle Lodge will celebrate its 70th year at St Mary Abbots Place, Kensington, on Sunday, March 20. Events will open at 2.30pm with a talk by Lodge Mother Jenny Dent.
This is free of charge and open to all. The London Lodge Anniversary Festival Service begins at 4.30. Music has been specially composed by Jenny Bateman from the Wisdom School Creative Arts Team.
The London Lodge is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just off Kensington High Street. Its work centres around the themes of peace and healing, based on the teachings of White Eagle, but the aim is to ensure that every cultural or spiritual background is respected.
One aspect is to bring healing to the city of London itself, thus serving everyone who visits, lives and works there.
Anyone is welcome to visit during opening hours, enjoy the sanctuary areas and attend activities. There is also a library and bookshop.
Telephone enquiries about the London opening hours and activities can be made to 0207 603 7914 on Monday to Thursday, from 10am to 5pm.
